Love the end result of this wood, but it is hard to turn at times. Very brittle at times. As long as I use sharp tools it is better but just be careful and the end result is very good.

Bought this in lieu of Padauk as our cutting boards made with Padauk strips began bleeding onto the light colored woods. This will also be good for lots of accent color on segmented turnings.
