Absolutely Beautiful Wood

When the wood arrived I was very surprised at the weight. This is some very heavy dense wood. A 4" long piece measuring 1.5"x1.5" diameter weighs just over 4 ounces and when finished with internal holes to make a wooden kazoo weighs 3.5 ounces. The true visual beauty of this wood is not fully revealed until after applying the final finish. Which for me is a natural beeswax finish that I make. Then the true beauty explodes. Not only visual but also in the satin smoothness of the wood after a final hand sanding with 400 grit sandpaper and ending with a 0000 grade steel wood rub.
Definitely a beautiful eye catching classy piece of wood.
